Why Stemba exists
Ensuring your biology is not your barrier
Stemba began because I couldn't find the place I needed. Juggling a full-time career, raising two daughters, and navigating serious health challenges of my own, I kept hitting the same wall: confusing information, unreliable tools, and a healthcare world that too often overlooked women.
Women deserve better than that.
The name comes from my daughters, Stella and Amber. Stemba is the company I want to exist for them.
We want to redefine women's wellness.
And build something our daughters can one day rely on.

Unapologetic advocate for gender equality and women's health
As a midwife and Clinical Research Excellence Fellow with research partnerships at KKH and NUHS here in Singapore, my work focuses on how women can use their own data to understand their bodies and improve their health across a lifetime.
Most women I work with in clinical practice are trying hard to manage their cycles, fertility, and pregnancies on information they have pieced together from apps, forums, and advice from family or friends. It is not their fault. Women’s health has been under-studied, under-funded, and under-explained for too long.
They deserve tools built by professionals with genuine clinical expertise and experience, explained in language that respects their intelligence and is grounded in evidence.
That is why I came to Stemba. That is the work I am here to do.
